Nelson Consulting Group was formed by Darren Nelson, a specialist of 20 years experience
in Industrial Relations and Human Resources. Darren’s experience extends across public, private and
not for profit sectors. In that time Darren has developed and honed insights and competencies
across the many facets of business.
Darren has a broad range of contacts in the legal, industrial, political and institutional spheres in
Australia that deal with industrial relations disputes on a day to day basis. This allows him to advise on
the best strategic approaches for the commercial resolution of a problem and to implement such

Darren has particular experience and strengths in Resources, Infrastructure, Construction and
Manufacturing sectors including set up and implementation strategies.
